This is a very fragile shade and I was concern that it would not ship well. BUT it did. Double boxed and a lot of packing paper to keep inner box in place. This shade is a perfect fit and I am glad I took a chance ordering it. Rosemary NI have an old English double wick burner hanging lamp above the dining table for use during power outages. During one of the outages I broke the original shade by accident. The replacement from B&P fits perfectly, and the lamp is back in use.much too expensive. unreasonably so.I ordered this lampshade with much hesitation after conflicting accounts of size between customers and the store owner. Received it today and it fits perfectly! So, if any of you folks need a glass lampshade for an antique oil lamp conversion with a 3" center round and 9 3/4" diameter with three 4" prongs to hold the shade in place, THIS WORKS! Looks pretty good, not as good as the frosted grape design shade I had before, but its simple and looks fine.I have been looking for this lamp shade for several years I was so pleased to get it and it matches my other lamp. I will be buying some oil lamp parts in the future; will call them first!This shade is a good fit for antique lamps that a 10 inch shade is to large. It is a good replacement glass shade for its older look.Looking for a replacement glass shade because I broke the original shade a couple of years ago. I decided to look on Amazon to see if I could find one and this one fits perfect and looks great, the only difference I’ve noticed is that my original shade was thicker and heavier.
