THNX!!I was hesitant in buying this lamp shade due to reviews; several customers said that the shade was cheap and/or were pink when lit and/or it was crushed. I had none of these problems. In fact, I think the shade is absolutely perfect. I purchased the white with gold thread for an antique lamp that I had. It was sturdy, and it shows enough light when turned on. The shades (bought 2) came in an Amazon box with no cushion but, surprisingly, it wasn't crushed. I absolutely love the shade!I like the look and feel of this lamp shade. It deserves a 5 star, but I gave it a 4 simply because (for my lamp), it should have been 1 inch longer. It does not look cheap and the gold thread is not prominent which I was afraid of. It looks classy. :-)I had measured the height & width for a thin side table in entryway.
